MOSCOW, Mar 13 (PRIME) -- Incomes of Russian parastatal operator Rostelecom from real estate property management amounted to 11 billion rubles in 2018, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Sergei Anokhin told reporters late on Tuesday.
Incomes from renting out property amounted to 3 billion rubles, and the company raised 8 billion rubles from the sale of some 300,000 square meters, Anokhin said.
Rostelecom’s subsidiary Central Telegraph sold its office building near the Kremlin for 2 billion rubles to local developer Pervy in December 2018. Rostelecom CEO Mikhail Oseyevsky said the operator is discussing ways to distribute the money with Central Telegraph’s minority holders. “Perhaps, there will be dividends,” he said.
Oseyevsky also said Rostelecom will continue looking for options to use other real estate facilities of Central Telegraph.
Central Telegraph is the largest owner of sites in a historic telegraph building at Tverskaya 7, near the Kremlin.
